Gordon & MacPhail appoints Jo Coomber to global marketing team

Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin-based premium spirits and Scotch whisky company, has appointed Jo Coomber to its executive team to strengthen its global marketing capabilities. Coomber brings over 25 years of experience in luxury and consumer brand marketing, having previously served in leadership roles and consulted for entities such as Suntory Global Spirits.

The appointment is part of the company’s strategy to invest in brand development and international growth across its portfolio, which includes Benromach Distillery and The Cairn. Chief Executive Mark Geary stated that Coomber’s track record in insight-driven marketing will support the firm’s ambitious growth plans in key global markets.
