Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Budapest opened in the Dorothea Hotel, marking the chef’s first restaurant in Central Europe. The 160‑seat venue launched to a full house, with hundreds of reservations made within the first 24 hours of online booking.

The menu blends British classics such as Beef Wellington, Fish & Chips and Sticky Toffee Pudding with Hungarian specialties, including Mangalica pork, chicken paprikash and a Chimney Cake‑inspired Eton Mess. A sushi and raw bar offers oysters, surf‑and‑turf, and nigiri of salmon, tuna and wagyu. Chef de cuisine András Katona highlighted the team’s dedication in creating a concept that honors both Ramsay’s standards and Hungary’s culinary traditions. Designed by Patina Studio, the restaurant features warm woods, intimate bookcase screens and an open kitchen that showcases dry‑aged cuts and a central bar.
