Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen Season 25 features Gen Z chefs
Season 25 of the Gordon Ramsay reality series ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ is premiering on Fox, featuring a cast comprised entirely of contestants aged 25 or younger. Ramsay described the Gen Z competitors as ‘bloody talented,’ noting that the premiere featured the highest-scoring signature dish in the show’s history.
Executive producer Arthur Smith observed that the quality of culinary talent has risen significantly compared to earlier seasons, attributing this to more people pursuing culinary school and viewing the profession as a career of choice rather than necessity.
Among the competitors is Michael Catuosco Jr., a 24-year-old chef from Commack, New York. Catuosco, a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, previously worked at various establishments including the Athenian Greek Taverna and Yachtsman Steakhouse. The contestants are competing for a $250,000 prize and a position at one of Ramsay’s restaurants.
