Gorgonzola hosts photography exhibition on Cutro shipwreck victims

A photography exhibition titled ‘I sogni attraversano il mare’ (Dreams Cross the Sea) has opened at Palazzo Pirola in Gorgonzola. The exhibition features 94 photographs by Giuseppe Pipita, one for each confirmed victim of the Cutro shipwreck.

Organized by the Nazca Mondoalegre cooperative in collaboration with local authorities, the project aims to preserve the memory of the migration tragedy and reflect on its consequences for Italian coasts. The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 11, 2026.
