Gorillaz announces first India tour for January 2027

The virtual band Gorillaz has announced its first tour of India, scheduled for January 2027. The ‘The Mountain Tour’ will visit three cities: Bengaluru on January 23 at District Arena @ Terraform, Mumbai on January 27 at Jio World Garden, and Guwahati on January 31 at the Sarusajai Sports Complex.

The tour supports the group’s ninth studio album, ‘The Mountain’, which was recorded in India and features collaborations with several Indian musicians, including Anoushka Shankar, Asha Bhosle, and the Bangash brothers. The Guwahati performance is being organized by the platform District in collaboration with the Assam Tourism Development Corporation.

Tickets for the Bengaluru and Mumbai shows are currently available via the District app, with prices starting at Rs 5,000. Pre-sales for the Guwahati concert are scheduled to begin on September 12, followed by general sales on September 20.
