Gorj Police conduct crime prevention workshops for scouts

Police from the Gorj County Police Inspectorate conducted educational and preventive activities for scouts participating in the ‘Acasă la Brâncuși’ camp in Arcani between August 13 and 15.

Officers from the Crime Analysis and Prevention Bureau and the School Safety Bureau held interactive sessions with children and adolescents. The discussions focused on preventing victimization, identifying risk situations, and combating bullying while promoting respect and tolerance.

Additional topics included drug trafficking prevention, recognizing dangerous environments, and online safety, specifically regarding personal data protection and interacting with strangers. The program concluded with police accompanying the scouts on a hike in the Tismana mountain area and near the Constantin Brâncuși Museum to ensure safety during the excursion.
