Gorla Maggiore post office reopening delayed until September

The reopening of the post office in Gorla Maggiore has been delayed once again. Poste Italiane has announced a new deadline of September 22 for the facility on via Dante to resume operations.

Mayor Pietro Zappamiglio expressed significant frustration regarding the repeated postponements, noting that the branch has been closed since October 2025 for renovations under the “Polis” format. He stated that the delays cause ongoing inconvenience for citizens and promised to continue monitoring the progress of the works to prevent further setbacks.
