Gorna Oryahovitsa hosts third annual culinary festival

The third annual Festival of the Gorna Oryahovitsa Pot will take place from October 2 to 4 in Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria. The event celebrates the town's traditional 150-year-old recipe of beef ribs slow-cooked with wine and vegetables in a sealed clay vessel.

International chefs from Tunisia, Greece, and Turkey are scheduled to participate, cooking for the public in a dedicated 'Tasty Alley'. The festival will also feature the 'Black Box GO' culinary competition, where teams from five Bulgarian professional high schools will compete using mystery ingredients. The program includes musical performances by artists such as Tita and Desi Slava, alongside folk music and traditional dancing.
