Gornji Crnjelov to host third annual Kupusijada festival

The Society in Gornji Crnjelov will host the third annual Kupusijada on November 15, 2026. The event is dedicated to traditional Semberia cuisine, local products, and the preservation of regional customs.

Activities include cabbage cooking competitions, cabbage shredding contests, and awards for the heaviest and most beautifully decorated cabbage heads. Participants can also enjoy traditional specialties such as cooked cabbage and roasted pig. Proceeds from ticket sales, which include a meal and drink, will be donated to schools in Gornji and Donji Crnjelov. Children are admitted free of charge.
