Gorontalo Province provides earthquake relief funds to NTT

The Gorontalo Provincial Government has allocated Rp250,000,000 in emergency funds to assist with earthquake relief efforts in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). The aid follows a 7.7 MMI magnitude earthquake that struck the Flores Sea on August 15, 2026, resulting in fatalities, injuries, and significant property damage.

Sukril Gobel, Head of the Gorontalo Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, stated that the funds are being drawn from the 2026 Unforeseen Expenditure Post (BTT). The allocation is intended to support urgent needs during the emergency response phase, including medical services, logistics, and temporary infrastructure repairs.
