Gorontalo regional authorities advance digital financial and asset management

Local government authorities in Gorontalo are intensifying efforts to strengthen digital financial transactions and asset management through technological innovation.

In Bone Bolango, the regional government is collaborating with Bank Indonesia to optimize the implementation of Regional Government Transaction Electronification (ETPD). This initiative focuses on expanding the use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among the public and business owners to integrate non-cash transactions into regional revenue and expenditure management.

Simultaneously, the Gorontalo Provincial Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) has been recognized as one of the top 12 innovators in the 2026 Regional Innovation Awards. Their SiReka BMD system, developed to optimize the planning of regional property needs, aims to create a more systematic, data-driven, and accountable administrative process for managing regional assets.
