Gorzów Wielkopolski secures EU funds for new bicycle paths
Gorzów Wielkopolski has secured over 2.7 million PLN in European funding to expand its bicycle infrastructure. The project, totaling more than 3.9 million PLN, focuses on constructing a nearly 2-kilometer pedestrian and bicycle path along 11 Listopada Avenue and Składowa Street.
The investment includes new lighting for crossings and bicycle paths, as well as new traffic signals. This development aims to eliminate gaps in the existing network and improve connections to neighboring municipalities, such as Bogdaniec and Kłodawa.
This initiative is part of a broader series of cycling investments in the city. Other ongoing or planned projects include paths on Myśliborska and Konstytucji 3 Maja streets, as well as developments near Wyszyńskiego Street and the S3 junction.
