Gosho Aoyama Discusses Family Theme Behind 24‑Hour TV Charity T‑Shirt Design

Japan’s annual charity broadcast "24 Hours TV 49 – Love Saves the Earth" will air on August 29‑30 2026. Manga creator Gosho Aoyama, author of *Detective Conan*, has again designed the program’s charity T‑shirt, marking his second consecutive year.

Pop singer Chanmina and SixTONES member Kyōmoto Daiga, both appointed as special supporters for the event, interviewed Aoyama. He explained that the T‑shirt’s message centres on a “family” concept that unites fans regardless of blood ties. The pair also selected the shirt’s colours with Aoyama – pink for Kyōmoto, purple for Chanmina and blue for Aoyama – and received his blessing to wear the design.

The merchandise, priced at ¥2,200, is sold through the 24 Hours TV online store, NTV‑run shops and nationwide Aeon Group outlets, with proceeds supporting the charity’s initiatives.
