Goslar citizens prevent robbery suspect's escape

A 35-year-old man was apprehended in Goslar after attempting to rob a 63-year-old woman in a downtown cafe. The suspect forcibly seized the victim's handbag and attempted to flee the scene using an e-scooter.

Bystanders intervened by physically restraining the suspect until police arrived. Officers subsequently took the man into custody and transferred him to the Goslar Police Inspection. The victim was not injured during the incident. Local authorities have launched an investigation and are seeking information from the public to assist in the case.
