Goslar family case re-examined after parents spent 684 days in custody
An NDR documentary, ‘Der Fall Josephine R. - Eine Familie am Abgrund’, is re-examining a controversial legal case from Goslar, Germany. In 2020, Josephine R. reported extensive sexual violence and forced prostitution, initially implicating her ex-husband and her mother, Ramona R.
As investigations expanded, the accusations grew more severe. Ramona R. and her partner were accused of violent attacks on Josephine and her partner, Miriam A. Following these allegations, the parents spent 684 days in prison. However, the documentary highlights emerging doubts regarding the validity of the testimonies that led to their incarceration.
