Gospel music events held in Asti and Assisi

Gospel music initiatives have taken place in Italy, featuring community engagement and large-scale performances. In Asti, the Asti Gospel Choir hosted a ‘Gospel Open Night’ led by founder Aurelio Pitino. The event included vocal exercises and the collective performance of ‘Hallelujah, Salvation and Glory’, drawing significant interest from attendees wishing to join the choir.

In Assisi, the ‘Assisi One World Gospel’ festival is scheduled for November 6 as part of the celebrations for the eighth centenary of Saint Francis. The event will feature over 400 voices from 30 gospel groups across Italy, Europe, and America. Performers will move through 30 different squares in the historic center, culminating in a massive collective performance in Piazza del Comune to promote themes of peace and fraternity.
