Gotha hosts literary reading and announces new volunteer agency location

Gotha is hosting a multimedia reading titled ‘Stülpner Karl … gegen Tod und Teufel’ on September 29, 2026, at the Hannah Höch bookstore. Author Kai von Kindleben will present his work regarding the historical figure and Erzgebirge poacher Karl Stülpner. The event includes a discussion on the book’s research and production process.

Additionally, the Gotha Volunteer Agency (Freiwilligenagentur Gotha) has moved to a new central location at Klosterstraße 11. According to Constantin Raab of the Diakoniewerk Gotha, the move aims to improve accessibility and expand services, including workshops, round tables, and networking opportunities for volunteers and organizations.
