Gothenburg seeks international participants for high-altitude Lucia celebration

Göteborg & Co AB is seeking eight international participants for a specialized holiday experience titled ‘The Ultimate Gothenburg Julmys Experience’. The initiative aims to showcase ‘julmys’, a Swedish concept of relaxed, stress-free Christmas community centered on traditions, food, and togetherness.

The program will take place from November 13–15 during the opening weekend of Julstaden Göteborg. A central highlight of the experience will be a Lucia procession held at sunrise on the 69th floor of Karlatornet. Standing at 246 meters, Karlatornet is the tallest building in the Nordic region, making this one of the highest-altitude Lucia celebrations ever recorded.

Applications for the experience open on September 22.
