Goulburn Model Expo attracts large crowds to Veolia Arena

The Goulburn Model Expo, organized by the Georges River Model Railway Club, drew significant crowds to the Veolia Arena on August 29 and 30. As the largest event of its kind held in Goulburn to date, the expo featured more than 50 exhibitors and 30 trade stallholders across three halls.

Displays included model railways, trains, ships, towns, and radio-controlled miniature vehicles. Exhibitors such as Chris Johnson, a 73-year-old former IT teacher, showcased intricate layouts like ‘Chris’s Central Station,’ which spans three metres by four metres. The event expected up to 6,000 visitors over the two-day period.
