Gourdon is a medieval village located in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France. Situated at an altitude of 760 meters on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Loup gorges, the village offers views that can reach the Mediterranean Sea on clear days.

The village is characterized by its stone architecture that integrates with the cliffs and features the Gourdon castle, which was built on the foundations of an ancient Saracen fort and restored in the 17th century.
