Govee COB Strip Light 2 Pro offers high-density smart lighting

Govee has introduced the COB Strip Light 2 Pro, the second generation of its COB Strip Light series, which was unveiled at IFA 2026. The smart home lighting product features high LED density, with approximately 1,334 LEDs per meter, providing seamless illumination without visible light points.

The Pro version utilizes COB and RGBWWIC lighting technology, offering excellent color rendering and a brightness of roughly 500 lumens per meter. It supports extensive networking through Matter and includes an app with various control options, including an AI assistant with voice control capabilities.

While highly versatile for indirect lighting effects, the product is noted for having a somewhat cluttered application and a relatively thick physical profile. The light strip is available in two lengths: a 2-meter version priced at $99.99 and a 5-meter version priced at $169.99.
