Governador Valadares CPI investigates Nobe over R$ 4 million discrepancy

A parliamentary inquiry commission (CPI) in Governador Valadares is investigating Nobe regarding a suspected R$ 4 million discrepancy. During a recent hearing, Luciana Gomes Leite Passos, the owner of Nobe, denied allegations of embezzlement or fund retention.

Passos stated that the funds in question were related to the generation of property tax (IPTU) and garbage collection slips. She clarified that the company did not retain the R$ 4 million and suggested that technical teams should be consulted to clarify the specific operational details of the billing process.
