Government officials strengthen law enforcement in Mexico and Argentina

In Mexico, Governor Tere Jiménez of Aguascalientes delivered new equipment to the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) to enhance operational capabilities. The delivery included 30 vehicles, firearms, and tactical vests intended for the General Commissioner of the Criminal Investigation Police. This initiative, part of the ‘Blindaje Aguascalientes’ program, aims to improve investigation efficiency and combat impunity. The FGE is currently ranked among the top three best-evaluated prosecutor's offices in the country according to the 2026 State Performance Index.

In Argentina, Governor Claudio Poggi presided over a ceremony in the Conlara Valley to recognize the promotion of police agents within the Regional Unit No. 3. During the event, Poggi presented personalized decrees and insignia to officers, including Alejandra Escobar, who attained the rank of General Commissioner. The governor emphasized the importance of transparent and equitable promotion mechanisms to strengthen the institutional integrity of the San Luis Police.
