Vietnam leadership conducts inspections of Hai Phong and Government Party Committees

Vietnam's central leadership is conducting high-level inspections and implementing personnel changes across several key administrative bodies.

Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng chaired a conference to review the third round of inspection and supervision results for the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee. During the session, the Prime Minister emphasized that cadre evaluation must be based on final results and that policies, including allowances, should not be applied uniformly without regard to performance. The inspection focused on cadre work, science and technology development, and digital transformation.

Simultaneously, a separate inspection of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee was conducted, led by Politburo member Trần Cẩm Tú. The review highlighted progress in implementing central resolutions and improving socio-economic development, while also noting the need for better control over power and more effective cadre rotation and evaluation mechanisms.

In Hai Phong, the city has also implemented new appointments, including the designation of Nguyễn Sỹ Hiệp as Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, as part of broader organizational restructuring for the 2025–2030 term.
