Government programs deliver mobile services to rural Roraima
Local governments in Roraima, Brazil, are conducting mobile service programs to provide essential public resources to remote and rural populations.
In Xapuri, the 'Prefeitura na Comunidade Rural' program is operating in the Seringal Cachoeira region. The initiative includes the reopening of the Cachoeira Basic Health Unit and offers medical consultations, pediatrics, ultrasounds, vaccinations, and dental care. Additionally, the program provides agricultural support through mechanization registration and guidance on the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (Pronaf), alongside infrastructure services and environmental education.
Simultaneously, the 'Governo Itinerante' program is serving residents of Vila Félix Pinto in the municipality of Cantá. This initiative provides over 60 services across various sectors, including healthcare specialties such as cardiology and dermatology, vaccination, and the issuance of national identity cards and work booklets. The program also covers social assistance, public security, land regularization, and entrepreneurial guidance through agencies like Desenvolve Roraima and Jucerr.
