Governmental updates in Morelos and Dominican Republic

In Morelos, Mexico, the state government and the Sindicato de Trabajadores del Poder Ejecutivo have reached agreements to address pending job positions. A multidisciplinary meeting was held to review 24 specific positions, with the union set to analyze their viability for assignment. Additionally, the government committed to working with the union and the DIF Morelos system to develop a technical and budgetary diagnosis of the organization.

In the Dominican Republic, officials are advancing the National Care Policy, with a proposed investment of RD$21,977 million for the 2027 budget. Led by the Ministry of Women, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and the Ministry of Labor, the initiative aims to create a National Care System. The policy seeks to address the economic impact of unpaid domestic work, which primarily affects women's labor participation, and to prepare the country for demographic shifts.
