Governor Ahmad Luthfi Meets Jateng Guyub, Commits to Action on Community Aspirations

On 24 July 2026, Governor Ahmad Luthfi of Central Java received representatives of the Jateng Guyub community at the "Rumah Rakyat" in the governor's office in Semarang. The group presented a range of aspirations covering agrarian, environmental and agricultural issues. Luthfi emphasized that the venue allows citizens to voice concerns directly to the government and said the draft responses had already been prepared. He noted concrete steps such as deploying 56 trucks of sugarcane transport to assist farmers in Blora and warned against illegal practices in state high schools, pledging sanctions for violations.

Luthfi assured that the provincial administration will continue to inventory and follow up each report from the public. When a representative raised allegations of criminalisation in Blora, he clarified that the province lacks authority to intervene in law‑enforcement matters, underscoring the limits of provincial power while reaffirming commitment to address the community's needs.
