Governor Aiyedatiwa to commission projects at Omoluorogbo Grammar School 50th anniversary

Omoluorogbo Grammar School in Akure, Ondo State, is preparing for its golden jubilee celebration, themed “Celebrating Our Legacy, Shaping the Future.” The three-day event is scheduled to culminate on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is expected to headline the festivities by officially commissioning a newly completed, ultra-modern administrative block. He will also perform the groundbreaking ceremony for two new four-classroom blocks. These projects are part of a larger legacy infrastructure initiative led by the school’s global alumni network, which aims to deliver a total of four new classroom blocks to enhance the learning environment.

The anniversary celebrations include an interdenominational thanksgiving service, mentorship sessions, and networking activities starting on October 29, followed by inter-house sports on October 30. The event is expected to draw alumni from across the globe, including chapters from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, and Japan.
