Governor Claudio Poggi Opens New Penitentiary Training Center in San Luis

Governor Claudio Poggi inaugurated the first dedicated training center for the provincial penitentiary service in San Luis. The 405‑square‑metre facility, named after Colonel Juan Pascual Pringles, was built in 150 days at a cost of 632 million pesos and will host courses, workshops and institutional events for prison staff.

Poggi also signed a contract to renovate the early‑education school ENI No. 5 “María Edelmira de Castillo” in the El Hornero neighborhood. The work will refurbish classrooms, roofs, electrical and heating systems, and improve overall maintenance to enhance conditions for the 221 enrolled children.
