Governor Claudio Poggi Visits Club Deportivo Junior After Legal Regularization

Governor Claudio Poggi toured Club Deportivo Junior in Leandro N. Alem, meeting club director Miguel Leyes and Minister Gonzalo Amondarain. The club, which now holds legal personality after completing the Institutional Strengthening Programme, presented its first project to purchase equipment for its youth teams. With the new funding the club bought jerseys, balls and other sports gear for its 30 children and teenagers competing in under‑17 and senior categories. Poggi praised the achievement, highlighted the role of the program in enabling the club’s development, and posed for a photo with the young players.

The visit underscores the provincial government's effort to support community sports initiatives and formalize local clubs, aiming to improve facilities and opportunities for young athletes in the region.
