Governor Elías Suárez inaugurates Hogar de Cristo expansion in La Banda

Governor Elías Suárez led the inauguration of the expansion of the Segundo Umbral at the Hogar de Cristo ‘Virgen de Itatí’ in the San Fernando neighborhood of La Banda, Santiago del Estero. The project, completed after several months of work, aims to improve living conditions for residents and increase the capacity to receive more young people.

The ceremony included provincial authorities such as Health Minister Natividad Nassif and Minister of Justice and Human Rights Matilde O'Mill, alongside religious leaders including Auxiliary Bishop Enrique Martínez Ossola and Father José María Pepe Di Paola. Pablo Vidal, a delegate for Cáritas Nacional, noted that the Hogar de Cristo network includes 350 spaces across Argentina dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations.
