Governor Evelyn Salgado Honors Guerrero Rescue Teams for Venezuela Earthquake Aid

Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda of the Mexican state of Guerrero publicly recognized the efforts of brigadistas Renato Pila Pintor and Jorge Luis Nava Muñiz, members of Guerrero’s Secretariat of Integrated Risk Management and Civil Protection. The two volunteers took part in search‑and‑rescue operations in La Guaira, Venezuela, following the earthquake that struck on 24 June.

Accompanied by the state risk‑management secretary Roberto Arroyo Matus, Salgado praised their professionalism, dedication and the spirit of solidarity they demonstrated, saying they represented both Guerrero and Mexico in the humanitarian mission.
