Governor Hugo Passalacqua, together with Justice Minister Juan Bautista Mahiques, inaugurated the opening session of the Federal Justice Council (COFEJUS) in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones. The event gathered national and provincial judicial authorities to strengthen coordination of public policies for the justice system.

Passalacqua emphasized federalism, stating “the provinces are the nation,” and highlighted the strategic importance of Misiones, a border province adjacent to Brazil and Paraguay, for a focused federal justice project. He called for coordinated planning across state levels and stressed the essential role of municipalities in identifying local needs.
