Governor Javier May Rodríguez Opens UJAT Induction Course in Tabasco

Governor Javier May Rodríguez inaugurated the University Induction Course for the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT) on a virtual‑in‑person ceremony attended by more than 6,500 new‑entry students. Speaking alongside UJAT rector Guillermo Narváez Osorio, May urged the students to embrace responsibility, perseverance and social commitment, noting that their education is essential for Tabasco’s future wellbeing. He highlighted the importance of preparing to contribute to the state’s development and encouraged the graduates to remain proud of their university identity.

The event also featured university officials Aura Noverola Alcocer, Rocío del Carmen Hernández Hernández and student leader Kevin Eduardo García Ortíz, underscoring the collaborative effort between the state government and the academic community.
