Governor Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa launches disability aid and security plan for Risaralda festivals

The Department of Risaralda, led by Governor Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa, delivered technical assistance to people with disabilities in the municipality of Pueblo Rico. Ten recipients received walkers, four‑point canes, portable toilets and other devices, with caregivers praising the support as life‑changing.

The governor also announced a coordinated security strategy for the upcoming Harvest Festival in Pereira. Police, the National Army, municipal authorities and other agencies will deploy about 100 officers across roughly 177 scheduled events to guarantee safety for residents and visitors.
