Governor Mara Lezama Opens New Sports Dome at Quintana Roo College, Urges Youth to Avoid Drugs
Governor Mara Lezama inaugurated a new sports dome at the Colegio de Bachilleres Plantel Señor in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The structure spans more than 500 square metres and includes a refurbished basketball court, providing improved facilities for over 200 students.
During the ceremony Lezama handed out balls and other equipment, encouraging the students to use the venue for football, basketball and volleyball. She delivered a message urging young people to lead healthy lives, stay away from drugs, alcohol, violence, machismo, classism and racism. Attendees included the college’s director general Jorge Carlos Aguilar Rodríguez, Public Works Secretary Rafael Lara Díaz, municipal president Mary Hernández, and plant director José Jesús Vizcaíno Yah.
