Governor Mauricio Kuri González Presents 2025 Professional of the Year Awards in Querétaro

On August 4, 2026, Governor Mauricio Kuri González led a ceremony in Querétaro where the Federation of Colleges and Associations of Professionals of the State of Querétaro (FECAPEQ) and the local business community honored 17 specialists as "Profesionista del Año 2025." The awardees represented fields such as accounting, law, health, dentistry, nursing, veterinary medicine, architecture and various engineering disciplines.

In his address, Kuri stressed that while new technologies streamline operations, ethical judgment, critical decisions and technical rigor remain the responsibility of trained professionals. FECAPEQ president Mayela Portos Hernández highlighted the contribution of professionals to job creation, industry advice and public‑private decision‑making, and COPARMEX Querétaro president Beatriz Hernández Rojas underscored that ethical, up‑to‑date professionals are essential for the state’s competitiveness.
