Governor Mauricio Kuri launches agricultural aid and backs housing program in Querétaro

Governor Mauricio Kuri González inaugurated the regional “Apoyo al Campo Queretano” program in Amealco de Bonfil, allocating 24.4 million pesos to 833 producers across Amealco, Huimilpan, Pedro Escobedo, San Juan del Río and Tequisquiapan. Of the funds, 15.7 million will purchase machinery for 463 producers, 2.75 million will buy fertilizer for 342 beneficiaries, and 5.92 million will finance water‑capture works for 28 producers.

Kuri also endorsed the federal housing initiative championed by President Claudia Sheinbaum, aiming to deliver up to 48,500 homes in Querétaro. The state has already begun 16,740 units (35 % of the target) and Infonavit expects to exceed the 40,000‑home goal, with 126 families receiving keys at the Prados de San Juan development and around 400 families already allocated.
