Governor Mike Braun announces Indiana board and judicial appointments

Indiana Governor Mike Braun has announced several new appointments to various state boards and commissions. These appointments cover a wide range of sectors, including the Indiana Lottery Commission, the Invasive Species Council, the Indiana Emergency Medical Services Commission, and the Board of Directors of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites.

Additionally, Governor Braun has made a judicial appointment to fill a vacancy on the Harrison County Superior Court. Joshua Otto Schalk, the current Harrison County prosecutor, has been selected to succeed Judge Joseph Claypool, who is set to retire on September 8. Schalk has served four terms as prosecutor.
