Governor Rogelio Frigerio advances road upgrades and police monitoring hub in Concordia

Governor Rogelio Frigerio toured ongoing reconstruction of provincial Route 22, a 90‑kilometre stretch linking Concordia with Federal, and cited completion of bacheo work on Route 4 between National Route 14 and Los Charrúas. The projects are part of a broader 222‑kilometre plan that includes deep and surface resurfacing, cement incorporation and crack sealing on Routes 22, 23, 28, 38 and access to Puerto Yeruá.

In a subsequent cabinet meeting, Frigerio and provincial officials reviewed the progress of these works, confirmed that the initial phase of Group 2 bacheo is underway and discussed financing, including international sources. Health‑system exams for medical residents were also on the agenda.

On the same day, Frigerio inaugurated a new police monitoring centre in Concordia. The 70‑million‑peso investment creates new buildings for the Radio‑Electric Command, a monitoring and video‑surveillance hall, and upgrades facilities for police personnel. The centre operates a 200‑camera network and an enhanced 911 emergency system, with plans to expand prison facilities in Federal.
