Governor Slaveski attends IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings

A delegation led by National Bank Governor Trajko Slaveski and Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska is participating in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group in Bangkok, Thailand.

Governor Slaveski is scheduled to address the EUR Regional Economic Outlook Dinner, focusing on challenges and opportunities for accelerating economic growth, increasing productivity, and facilitating faster convergence of regional countries toward the European Union.

The delegation intends to hold meetings with high-ranking officials from the IMF and World Bank to discuss monetary policy, statistical functions, and the modernization of payment systems and digital payments. Key discussions will involve cooperation on legal affairs, capital markets, and regulatory alignment.
