Governor Soludo joins Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign council

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been appointed as the Anambra State Coordinator for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign council. Soludo, the national leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), officially declared his party’s support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid during an inauguration ceremony in Abuja.

Soludo described the political consensus surrounding Tinubu’s re-election efforts as an “unprecedented milestone” in Nigerian history, noting that approximately 33 state governors have expressed support for the sitting president. He argued that this broad alignment reflects a collective desire to maintain the federal government’s economic reforms and promote national unity, security, and shared prosperity.

Despite belonging to a different party, Soludo emphasized that the move represents a unification of progressive forces. He stated that APGA’s support is rooted in a belief in the stability and future of the country, advocating for continuity in reform programs to transition from economic stability to accelerated prosperity.
