Governors Ahmad Luthfi and Sherly Tjoanda spark social media buzz

Governors Ahmad Luthfi of Central Java and Sherly Tjoanda of North Maluku have drawn significant social media attention after both posted photos of themselves sitting side-by-side during an official event in Jakarta. The synchronized posts on their respective Instagram accounts prompted widespread speculation and comments from netizens regarding their personal relationship.

Beyond the social media buzz, the governors were in Jakarta to attend a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the leadership of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian. The meeting focused on strategic agrarian issues and land conditions within their respective provinces. Other regional leaders, including East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and East Kalimantan Governor Rudy Mas'ud, were also present at the event.
