GoVolta offers flash sale on Amsterdam to Berlin train routes
Private rail operator GoVolta has launched a flash sale for its service between Amsterdam and Berlin, with one-way fares starting at €9.99. The promotion is valid for travel between November 1 and December 16, 2026, and from January 5 to January 31, 2027. The discounted rate applies to travel between various Dutch and German stations along the line, including Amersfoort, Deventer, Hengelo, Bad Bentheim, Osnabrück, and Hannover.
The service operates six times a week using refurbished Belgian SNCB I10 coaches. The base fare includes one piece of hand luggage and one small personal item; larger suitcases require an additional €15 fee when booked online. Passengers can upgrade to first class for an extra €23 or reserve specific seats for €12.50 per direction.
Despite the low prices, the service has faced reliability issues. Data from zugfinder.net indicates that the Amsterdam route failed to reach its destination five times in the last month, with other delays ranging from two to five hours. Travelers may need to purchase alternative tickets from Deutsche Bahn during disruptions and seek reimbursement from GoVolta later.
