Goyang Lake Art Festival to host 430,000 visitors at Ilsan Lake Park

The 15th Goyang Lake Art Festival (GSAF 2026) is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 at Ilsan Lake Park and surrounding areas, including La Festa and Western Dom. Hosted by Goyang City and managed by the Goyang Cultural Foundation, the festival aims to attract 430,000 visitors, an increase from the previous year.

Under the theme ‘Rhythm of the Street’, the event will feature approximately 100 performances by 50 different groups, including circus acts, mime, and puppet shows. Highlights include the premiere of ‘Hey, Listen’, a unique aerial music performance, and the ‘GSAF Global’ segment featuring artists from Brazil, Italy, and Japan.

Interactive programs such as ‘Circus Village’ and ‘Puppet House’ will allow visitors to participate in various arts. To support local businesses, dedicated food delivery pickup zones will be established. The festival will conclude on September 20 with a drone light show involving 1,000 drones, fireworks, and a performance by singer Shin Seung-hun. All festival programs are free to the public.
