Goyang Lake Arts Festival concludes in South Korea

The 15th Goyang Lake Arts Festival concluded successfully after a three-day event held from the 18th to the 20th. Hosted by Goyang Special City and organized by the Goyang Cultural Foundation, the festival took place at Ilsan Lake Park, La Festa, and Western Dom.

Under the theme ‘Rhythm of the Street’, the festival featured high-quality domestic and international street art performances. For the first time, some international works were selected through an open call process to expand international exchange. The festival utilized the entirety of Ilsan Lake Park as a performance space, moving away from concentrated venues to create a large-scale artistic stage.

Highlights included a drone light show involving approximately 1,000 drones, an aerial opening performance titled ‘Hey, Listen’, and a closing concert by singer Shin Seung-hun.
