GP Ansor launches 2026 National Humanitarian Task Force

GP Ansor has officially launched the 2026 National Humanitarian Action Task Force to address various natural disasters across Indonesia. The initiative aims to manage responses to forest and land fires, volcanic eruptions, droughts, earthquakes, and floods.

As part of this humanitarian effort, the organization will implement a river cleaning movement to mitigate flood risks ahead of the December 2026 to February 2027 rainy season. This movement aligns with the ‘Indonesia ASRI’ environmental initiative launched by President Prabowo. The task force will involve various organizational levels, with Banser personnel providing technical field support.

In addition to physical disaster management, the Rijalul Ansor wing will conduct spiritual activities, including prayers and national pilgrimages. GP Ansor Chairman Addin Jauharudin emphasized that the task force will collaborate with local governments, the military (TNI), police (Polri), regional disaster management agencies (BPBD), and the private sector to assist affected communities.
