GP Industria & Artigianato 2026 features challenging new course

The 48th edition of the GP Industria & Artigianato cycling race is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026. Part of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni calendar, the event features a significantly renovated and more challenging course compared to previous years.

The 196.5-kilometer race will start and finish in Larciano. The route includes a total elevation gain of over 2,500 meters, highlighted by the San Baronto circuit which includes four ascents of Fornello. The final stretch through Mungherino is noted for its steep and treacherous terrain.

Defending champion Isaac Del Toro, who won the previous edition, is expected to face competition from several favorites, including Lenny Martinez, Romain Grégoire, Jan Christ, and Michael Storck. Local contenders such as Christian Scaroni, Antonio Tiberi, and Damiano Caruso are also expected to compete. The race will be broadcast live on RaiSport HD starting at 14:30, with streaming available via Raiplay, Discovery Plus, and HBO Max.
