GPD launches modular WIN Max 3 handheld gaming laptop

GPD has launched pre-orders for the WIN Max 3, a modular handheld gaming laptop designed to balance power, battery life, and portability through interchangeable components. The device features a clamshell design that can be reconfigured with snap-on modules, including a 97Wh battery pack or an external cooling module.

Powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ processors (388 and 395 series) and Radeon 8060S graphics, the device supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory. The hardware includes a 9.06-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. Depending on the configuration, the weight ranges from a base of 815g to 1,220g with the battery module attached. Adding the cooling module allows the system to reach a sustained 110W performance.

Pre-order pricing starts at 9,999 CNY for the 32GB+1TB configuration, reaching 21,999 CNY for the high-end 128GB+2TB model. The modular battery is available separately for 399 CNY.
