GPEP fully leases Seelow local supply centre in Brandenburg
The GPEP asset management team has secured two new tenants for the Nahversorgungszentrum Seelow in Brandenburg, bringing the centre to full occupancy. Non‑food discounter Woolworth will occupy roughly 1,000 m², a space previously held by JYSK for ten years, with opening slated for mid‑August. Getränke Hoffmann will open a beverage market of about 650 m² after a fit‑out, opening in mid‑July. Anchor tenant Netto Marken‑Discount continues to operate in the centre.
The 2015‑built property comprises around 3,150 m² of lettable area, about 100 parking spots and is situated on the northern edge of Seelow. Interior renovations and modern lighting were installed ahead of the new openings. Marc Neis, Prokurist and head of asset management at GPEP, said the new mix expands the shopping offer, attracts additional customer groups and enhances rental security for both tenants and investors. GPEP, an independent real‑estate manager specialising in food‑market and specialist‑centre assets, oversees the centre for an institutional special fund and expects the leases to increase the investment’s long‑term value.
